Llano River Float Trip
Taking place on the Upper Llano River this trip is accessed by raft when water levels and flow conditions allow. The river is celebrated for its strong populations of Guadalupe bass, Rio Grande cichlids, and an abundance of sunfish, catfish, carp, and gar. Please note, our staff will solidify all trip details with you during booking, including timing, meeting location, river conditions, and what to bring.
The Upper Llano Float Trip
The Llano River is a true Hill Country gem, and this float-style fishing trip lets you experience it at its natural pace. We drift by raft through clear water and rugged granite and sandstone stretches, stopping at proven pockets to fish for Guadalupe bass, Rio Grande cichlids, and a mix of sunfish, catfish, carp, and gar. Flowing from Kimble County through Mason County and into the Llano Arm of Lake LBJ, the river offers a constantly changing fishery set against remote, undeveloped land rich with wildlife. Every float feels like stepping into a quieter, wilder version of Texas where the journey is just as memorable as the fishing.
